The Etiopia pens were originally made as eyedropper pens, as a soldier pen for use in the trenches in Etiopia. They did not sell well, and the over stock was converted for secondary marked. This happened in the Aurora factory, to create a second marked for an over stock of Etipia pens.

This facetted Lady size Novum pen was made in the thirties.
The fillingsystem is a special version of a pushbuttonfiller - when the small lever at the back of the barrel is pulled, it bends the springbar inside the barrel which then works exactly like the Parker pushbuttonfiller.
The pen is fully working with a fresh inksac. No scratch, no crack. |
