| Most regularly people identify
their vintage pen as a bakelite pen, though is almost always wrong. It is too brittle,
though very cheap in production. Parker used bakelite for some barrels aroind 1910, the
first Pelikan barrels as well were made from bakelite. Many early demonstrator pens were
made from bakelite, as it can be produced transparent. |
