a) Crescentfiller (Half Moon), Conklin 1905 back
A metal piece, shaped like a half moon, is protruding through a slit in the barrel, blocked by hard rubber ring, rotating on the barrel. When released, the half moon can be pushed into the barrel, a metal bar mounted onto the half moon compresses the sac. This was the first selffilling system for a fountain pen, using a pen sac. crescentgr.jpg (13836 Byte)
